In the province, 5,103 people participated in the Red Cross employment plan in 2024 at the 22 existing local points. A total of 1,479 people have found employment, and the organization has 533 collaborating companies with which over 1,600 partnerships were created.
In Malaga, these companies from different parts of the province were recognized on Thursday at the Andalusian tourism headquarters for their collaboration with the Red Cross in job placement and employee promotion.
Therefore, Integrated Services stood out for hosting over 30 people in non-element training practices, opening doors to the job market in the healthcare sector, all trained in the mentioned area. Through their collaboration, Red Cross managed over 25 job offers, specifically transferred to Red Cross for hiring those in need. As a result, over 24 individuals were placed in jobs.

Holiday World Hotel was distinguished for including participants from various Red Cross Employment Plan projects in all job offers in 2024, facilitating access to different jobs for five individuals, thereby enhancing their quality of life and that of their families, contributing to their well-being and strengthening their autonomy. «This involvement reflects not only their corporate social responsibility but also their genuine commitment to the inclusion and professional development of the most vulnerable individuals,» they appreciate.
Molina Lario Cruz Red Hotel was recognized for their numerous donations, including furniture and minibars for rooms with babies in reception centers distributed throughout the province of Malaga, catering to individuals with specific pathologies like diabetes, as well as providing vacuum cleaners and vehicle maintenance. They actively participated in several job fairs, offering opportunities to participants, generating over ten job offers throughout the year, as well as accommodation, mentoring practices, and training to strengthen the necessary skills for vulnerable individuals actively seeking employment.
Ignis, through its photovoltaic plant in the city of Archidona, provided job opportunities for participants in the Red Cross employment plan in Antequera by operating and maintaining solar photovoltaic plants. Their collaboration was crucial in improving opportunities for many individuals in the renewable energy sector, with a significant impact on gender equality awareness due to the inclusion of women in this sector’s workforce.
ISS Mundo provided over twenty job offers, facilitating opportunities for twelve individuals involved in different employment plan projects in Benalmádena, Malaga, Torremolinos, and Velez-Malaga.
Kik Spain formed various partnership alliances to hire its first workplace in the province of Malaga, conducting group dynamics and personal interviews at the Red Cross in Malaga. This collaboration impacted eleven female employees, mainly from the «bridges for equality» project, resulting in a diverse team in terms of age, experience, and profiles.
