Mayor Francisco de Torre reported the «popular» urgent motion to recognize the city as ideal to host the National Cybersecurity Center that the Government must create under the protection of coordination and governance of the Central Executive to «Assess the Malaga Candidacy».
From Torre, who waited to be approved unanimously, also reported that it is proposed for the board and the government to create a scenario of coordination and joint work for the implementation of the National Center in Málaga, «taking advantage of the experience and agreements that already exist in the Cybersecurity sector in our city». «We do it with the best disposition to collaborate on the success of this National Cybersecurity Center,» he added.
«Málaga has proven to be a city capable of retaining talent and attracting talent in many technological issues, in this sense, of course, in a very clear way,» he said. In summary, he emphasized: «It is about adding here, from Málaga, an ecosystem that can help achieve that success.»
The request for resignation of the culture councilor
On the other hand, the PSOE and Malaga groups bring urgent actions regarding the «Pineda case» in which, among other things, «transparency,» to purify responsibilities, an investigation commission, and the resignation of the culture councilor.
PSOE spokesperson, Daniel Pérez, said it is «a completely unsustainable situation due to the lack of transparency, due to these versions that we know constantly change.»
Pérez explained that, in the motion, they request, among other things, to create an investigation commission in the Municipal Council and establish political and administrative responsibilities; as well as all the information, which must be sent to the Board and the Court of Auditors.
In addition, they request the reprimand of the councilor «because he is the leader» and «considering this degenerate situation that has come with so many lies, so many versions, what we want to ask for is the public resignation of the culture councilor.» «You have to resign through action or omission,» he added. Also, he said that it should be the culture councilor who «shows his face and explains what is happening and from the tower to take action on the matter.»
Similarly, the deputy spokesperson referred to Málaga, Toni Morillas, who assured that «the best news that Málaga and the people of Málaga could offer us Málaga, the culture councilor to present his irrevocable resignation and, if not, the mayor has the power to enforce this termination.»
In his opinion, «it is not possible for a councilor to continue in the plenary session of this Municipal Council, which managed to support a clear conflict of interest, in a clear case of incompatibility, participating directly in the granting of this sponsorship that was orchestrated, was articulated with Promálaga,» he added.
Also, with Málaga, he asks the mayor, as well as the culture councilor, the vice president of Promálaga, the innovation councilor, and the director of the Municipal Society of Promálaga, «for opacity, lack of transparency, and for the absence of consistent, necessary, and appropriate explanations.»

On the other hand, they request the intervention of the Court of Auditors to obtain this contract; In addition to officially going to the Andalusian office against fraud and corruption.

All political responsibilities in the case of Pineda must be purified,» he said, requesting «maximum transparency.»

On their part, the Vox municipal group urgently promoted a negotiation between the Port Authority and the established fishermen in Malaga for the «immediate opening» of the Fish Market.
The spokesperson of the Vox municipal group, Antonio Alcázar, explained that «due to this situation, 19 ships are affected that must divert their goods to the ports in Vélez or Fuengirola, and that makes them develop a greater amount of working hours than those corresponding to them and even a higher cost.»
