El Ayuntamiento and Hard Rock Hotel Marbella have come together for the second time to search for the best voice in Andalucia. The Youth Councilor, Alejandro González, highlighted during the presentation of the ‘Spotlight Music Talent Show’ contest that in this edition, the event will be reinforced mainly in terms of prizes, and has announced in this regard that the winners will have the opportunity to be the opening act for singer Manuel Carrasco at the concert organized by OMA FEST in San Pedro Alcántara. «Other rewards will include hotel nights at Hard Rock Tenerife, contracts to perform at the establishment itself, and vouchers for the purchase of musical instruments and recordings of original songs at the Rock Factory music school in San Pedro, among many more prizes published on the municipal website,» he said.
Likewise, the councilor has informed that from today until March 26, registration is open on the website www.marbella.es/juventud for all those aged between 16 and 35 who wish to participate (both soloists and groups) and has encouraged young people to do so. «In our autonomous community, there is a lot of youth talent, and it is a pride that our city is the epicenter of it and music, with an initiative that some residents of Marbella won last year,» González emphasized. «The first edition was very well received, and the winners had the opportunity to perform weekly at Hard Rock Hotel Marbella and grow musically by having greater visibility,» he highlighted. Similarly, he explained that the initiative will include auditions on April 5 and 6, a semifinal on the 12th of that month, and the final on the 26th.
On the other hand, the deputy director of Hard Rock Hotel Marbella, Pablo Vázquez, thanked the City Council for joining the establishment again in this contest, «which was a complete success last year.» «Our philosophy is to support emerging music, and proof of this commitment was the performances of the winners at our establishment,» he noted, while also highlighting the «contribution to this initiative» from sponsors (Arte Puro and Europa FM) and collaborators (Rock Factory, Musisol, and OMA FEST).
