Los escritores David Uclés, Ignacio Martínez de Pisón y Laura Ferrero se unen al jurado del IV Premio de Novela Ciudad de Estepona por primera vez. El certamen, organizado por la Fundación Manuel Alcántara y el Ayuntamiento de Estepona en colaboración con la Editorial Pre-Textos, busca promover la creación literaria y reconocer el talento de escritores en lengua española.

El premio está valorado en 25.000 euros y se otorgará como anticipo de derechos de autor. Las novelas inéditas escritas en español pueden optar al premio, siempre que no hayan sido premiadas en otros concursos ni estén participando en procesos similares al momento de la convocatoria. Las obras deben tener entre 150 y 300 páginas de extensión.

Las novelas deben enviarse en formato digital (PDF) a la dirección premionovela@manuelalcantara.org, junto con los datos personales y de contacto del autor, así como una declaración firmada que certifique su originalidad e inédita publicación.

El plazo para enviar las obras finaliza el 10 de mayo y el fallo del jurado, integrado por destacadas figuras del mundo literario y periodístico español, se anunciará antes del 31 de diciembre de 2025.

El jurado de esta edición está compuesto por Ignacio Martínez de Pisón, Laura Ferrero, David Uclés, Rafael Arias, Silvia Pratdesaba y Guillermo Busutil. Since its inception, the City of Estepona Novel Prize has attracted the attention of writers from around the globe. In its inaugural year, it received over 300 submissions from countries such as Germany, France, Egypt, Canada, the United States, Guatemala, and Mexico, with the Mexican author Miguel Tapia winning for his novel «Tumbas de agua.» The second edition saw participation double, with over 600 original works submitted, and the award went to Manuel Moya for his novel «Buitrera.» In the most recent edition, Marina Perezagua’s «El sabor de mi madre» emerged victorious from nearly 700 entries spanning various regions of Spain, Europe, and Latin America.
