Next May 12th, the deadline to apply for a spot in the summer camps at the Entrerríos hostel will open

- Seven shifts are offered to accommodate around five hundred boys and girls
Mijas, May 7, 2025.- There are a few weeks left before the official start of summer, and the Entrerríos Hostel is preparing its traditional camps.
A total of seven shifts have been scheduled starting on June 24th and extending until August 29th, where approximately 500 boys and girls aged between 4 and 15 years old can enjoy a variety of activities aimed at promoting not only their fun but also their environmental awareness and socialization among minors. Cultural, historical, geographical activities, as well as activities promoting respect for nature and animals, will coexist with camping, pool games, sports, and summer movies.
This year, daytime shifts for children between 4 and 10 years old are also being reinstated, with a total of three shifts. As usual at the Entrerríos hostel, inclusive shifts have also been planned.
As stated by the Councilor of Hostels, Melisa Ceballos, «camps are a good way to promote work-life balance, which is why we are launching them. Additionally, children spend unforgettable days with all kinds of activities.»
The pre-registration request for residents will start on May 12th and can be done at municipal offices through entry registries, while for non-residents, it will begin on June 9th.
Furthermore, to ensure the proper development of activities and to address any needs that may arise, the presence of twenty people per shift has been planned, including monitors, chefs, lifeguards, cleaning staff, and a nursing assistant, among others.
