The Benalpatín Sports Club commemorates the XV anniversary of its emblematic event ‘Skate in the street’, a well-established event in the Benalmádena calendar as a sports, family-friendly, and participatory activity, open to all citizens. The initiative has the collaboration of the Benalmádena City Council, through the Sports Department, as well as the support of the Local Police and Civil Protection.

The 2025 edition has already had two days, on Fridays, April 11th and May 9th, with the third and final day of this edition scheduled for June 6th, starting at 8:00 p.m., on Constitution Avenue, in front of the Casa de la Cultura in Arroyo de la Miel. During the event, this main road is closed to traffic, ensuring a safe environment for skating.
‘Skate in the street’ is a free activity aimed at people of all ages, with the goal of promoting outdoor sports, citizen coexistence, and the responsible and safe use of urban space. The organization always emphasizes the mandatory use of personal protective gear such as helmets, wrist guards, knee pads, and elbow pads, as well as respect for the traffic rules established for the activity to take place.
