This is the eighth Solidarity Color Run that returns to the beach of Torre del Mar and represents the continuity of a charitable event in support of autism awareness.
The first deputy mayor of the municipality of Vélez-Málaga and deputy mayor of Torre del Mar, Jesús Pérez Atencia, appeared before the media on Tuesday morning as a reminder for the upcoming celebration on Sunday, June 1, of the Color Run on the Beach.
Atencia shared the latest updates about this event. «This is the eighth Solidarity Color Run that returns to the beach of Torre del Mar and represents the continuity of a charitable event in support of autism awareness. As in every edition, the charitable nature of the event focuses on the ACTEA group, an association that works in favor of autistic individuals and their integration.»
«The event will feature a great atmosphere, music, and various sports activities on the beach of Torre del Mar. In this edition, the number of prizes has been increased, making the raffle a spectacle with many gifts, vouchers, and all that comes with this family and sports event,» highlighted the councilor.
From the Deputy Mayor’s Office of Torre del Mar, «we hope that once again it will be a successful participation and we can experience a great sports day,» Atencia concluded.
Registration is still open, and all interested individuals can be part of this great sports and family celebration by following this link: The race will have a 5-kilometer route along the running lane of the beach of Torre del Mar, where colored powders will be thrown at participants at different points.
The start is scheduled for 10:30 am from the beach of Torre del Mar, in front of the music kiosk. This event was first organized in 2016, in partnership with ACTEA, and has been well received in all its editions, surpassing itself year after year. There will be prizes for the best individual costume, couple, and teams. Zumba party and gift raffle.
