The programming will be available in a practical digital guide, which can be consulted from any mobile device and at tourist information points. «Simply scan the QR code we present today and you will be able to access all the information conveniently and immediately,» he explained.
A diverse agenda, for all audiences
From July 1st to September 15th, Torre del Mar will become the epicenter of summer activities on the Costa del Sol, with a wide and varied agenda that includes cultural, sports, gastronomic, and traditional proposals. «Our goal is to establish Torre del Mar as a reference tourist destination,» highlighted the Deputy Mayor.
Among the most prominent events in the programming are:
– Weekend Beach Festival, which will bring together thousands of young people and music lovers in an event established as one of the great festivals of Spain.
– International Air Festival, which will fill the sky with acrobatics and spectacular aircraft, attracting thousands of people to the coast.
– Maritime procession of the Virgin of Carmen of the Melosas and Protected, on July 16th, a deeply rooted event in the maritime sentiment of the municipality.
– Maritime-terrestrial procession of the Brotherhood of the Virgin of Carmen, on July 26th, declared a regional festival of interest.
– Regatta of Jábegas (August 9th) and chalanas (September 13th).

In addition, there will be galas such as the election of Queen and Mister, fair nights, children’s activities, and traditional events like the Aurora Rosary.
A complete destination: sea, gastronomy, and heritage
Atencia wanted to highlight the surroundings of Torre del Mar as an attraction in itself. «We must not forget that Torre del Mar is much more than events. We have our best showcase, the promenade; a network of historic beach bars where you can enjoy authentic fried fish, seafood, and skewers; and an urban environment that combines art, gastronomy, and heritage,» he stated.
The councilor thanked the team that planned this agenda for months and sent a message to residents and visitors: «Let’s live the summer with joy, respect, and common sense, enjoying everything that Torre del Mar has to offer.»
«Thanks to everyone who is with us. Happy summer in paradise, happy summer in Torre del Mar,» he concluded.
