The first deputy mayor of the municipality of Vélez-Málaga and councilor for Tourism, Jesús Pérez Atencia; the councilor for Industry and Commerce, Beatriz Gálvez; and Javier Arcas, president of the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of Torre del Mar (ACET), have drawn the prizes for the Torre del Mar Cocktail Route on Monday morning, as well as announcing the winning establishment, New Ébano. Additionally, the draw for the «Thank You Torre del Mar» campaign was also conducted, where 10,000 tickets were distributed among the customers of businesses in the urban area of Torre del Mar.
Pérez Atencia stated, «Today we are going to proceed with the draw for the Torre del Mar Cocktail Route, and also for the parallel campaign carried out by the association, called Thank You Torre del Mar. Regarding the former, once again it has been a great success, and I want to congratulate the winners of the route. It was a dynamic activity for the hospitality establishments in our town, generating significant economic impact.»
In reference to the «Thank You Torre del Mar» campaign, Atencia highlighted, «10,000 tickets have been distributed among the customers of businesses in Torre del Mar, and today we will also conduct the draw for the gift vouchers. From the Deputy Mayor’s Office of Torre del Mar, we want to thank all participants, both users and establishments, and congratulate the winners.»
During the event, the president of the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of Torre del Mar, Javier Arcas, expressed his gratitude and emphasized the importance of such actions: «Today we are here to bring closure to both the ‘Thank You Torre del Mar’ and the ‘2025 Cocktail Route’ events. Both campaigns have been promoted by the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs, with the aim of retaining and thanking all the residents and visitors who choose Torre del Mar every day to consume and trust in our establishments.»
These actions were made possible thanks to the effort and collaboration of all participating establishments and institutions. «In particular, I want to thank Jesús Pérez Atencia, deputy mayor of Torre del Mar; Beatriz Gálvez, councilor for Commerce; Belén Zapata, councilor for Business and Employment; and David Segura, deputy mayor of Caleta.»
Regarding the «Thank You Torre del Mar» campaign, with a total of 1,000 euros in prizes, the distribution will be as follows: a first prize of 500 euros; five additional prizes of 100 euros each. The prizes were publicly drawn and will be delivered in the form of exchangeable vouchers exclusively at associated establishments, thus promoting local consumption. As for the 2025 Cocktail Route, the winning cocktails were also announced based on the evaluation of the participating public:
1st Prize: New Ébano
2nd Prize: Chiringuito Sirena
3rd Prize: Chiringuito Boraz
Additionally, three vouchers of 100 euros each were raffled among the attendees who voted, also exchangeable at local businesses. Arcas concluded his speech by reiterating his gratitude: «Thank you very much to everyone and congratulations to the winners.»
