David Vilches, Deputy Mayor of Mezquitilla and Lagos, along with Carlos Palacios, President of the Bahía del Lagos Association, have officially presented the 2025 Carnival, which will take place next Sunday, March 9th starting at 12 noon.
Deputy Mayor David Vilches highlighted the variety of activities that will be offered during the event, including performances by the Murga «Un Domingo Cualquiera» and «Solo Party,» which will bring pop rock versions to liven up the day. «We want all participants to enjoy a fun and pleasant morning, which is why we have prepared a costume contest with juicy prizes in different categories, both for children’s groups and adults,» Vilches stated.
Carlos Palacios, on his part, thanked the media for their support in promoting the event and invited everyone to join the celebration. «There will be around 1,000 euros in prizes, including categories for children, adults, groups, and couples or trios. In addition, the event will have the collaboration of the AVOY Association, which will take care of the bar and offer a delicious paella at popular prices, ensuring that attendees can enjoy food and drinks during the celebration.
