Marbella has launched a contest for local artists with the prize of performing at the Bella Festival 2025, which will take place on August 2 at the Finca de La Caridad de San Pedro Alcántara, as well as a cash prize of 500 euros. The Youth Councillor, Alejandro González, presented today the ‘Bella Talent’ competition, which has no age limit and is open to all musical styles, emphasizing that the goal is to «discover and promote local talent and offer a unique showcase to the city’s creators.» The councilor explained that the initiative is open to musicians «who reside, study, work, or are registered in the locality.» Participants must submit a video with their proposal and the registration form through the municipal website www.marbella.es/juventud. «A specialized jury will evaluate the applications and select six finalists, whose names will be announced on May 21,» he said, while also mentioning that the final will take place on June 28 at the boulevard of San Pedro Alcántara, «in a gala where they will perform live in front of the audience and where the winner will be chosen.»
González, who pointed out that all finalists will receive tickets to attend the festival, thanked the organizers of the Bella Festival «for wanting to feature local artists» and emphasized «the municipal commitment to the city’s creators, to whom we offer our support by providing them with different platforms.» On the other hand, Gonzalo Tafalla, a strategic partner of the festival in Andalusia, highlighted the importance «of giving visibility to Andalusian talent» and revealed that the Bella Festival, «which is growing exponentially,» will feature two stages in this edition and twice the number of bands on a lineup «to which we will add a surprise that we will announce soon.»
