Unicaja players Alberto Díaz and Yankuba Sima have been called up by national team coach Sergio Scariolo to join the Spanish National Team concentration to prepare for the upcoming Eurobasket.
This initial list includes 15 players who will meet in Madrid on July 28 to start the concentration, which will continue in Malaga to play the first friendly matches against Portugal on August 5, and the Czech Republic on August 7 at the José María Martín Carpena Sports Palace.
The Eurobasket preparation will continue with two friendlies against France (on August 14 in Badalona and August 16 in Paris) and will conclude with a double duel against the current world champion, Germany (on August 21 in Madrid and August 23 in Cologne).

It is worth noting that Alberto Díaz, with 49 caps for Spain, could this summer equal Berni Rodríguez (54) as the third Malaga player with the most appearances for the national team. Ahead of them are Carlos Cabezas (78) and Nacho Rodríguez (125).
