Unicaja has a new piece for the interior game. The Malaga Club has reached an agreement with Emir Sulejmanovic, a 2.05m power forward, 29 years old, for the next two seasons and an optional third.
Emir Sulejmanovic played last season at Casademont Zaragoza, where he finished as the top rebounder in the Liga Endesa with 7.2 rebounds per game. In addition to these numbers, he averaged 13.7 points, with a 41.8% shooting percentage from three-point range and an average efficiency rating of 15.7. On the court, Sulejmanovic stands out for his ability to play in both interior positions due to his quality, with the capacity to run the court and energize the team.
Sulejmanovic is a European player in the Liga Endesa, but in the BCL, his past at F.C. Barcelona’s youth academy qualifies him as a developmental player. In fact, he even played two Euroleague games with the Barcelona first team in the 2014-15 season.
