La Junta forma a cuatro millones en digitalización en Andalucía

El consejero de la Presidencia se dirige a los parlamentarios andaluces desde la tribuna de oradonres del Salón de Plenos de la Cámara autonómica.

The counselor of the Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue, and Administrative Simplification, Antonio Sanz, defended in a session at the Andalusian Parliament the commitment of the Andalusian Government to the digital transformation of Andalucía through the Digital Agency of Andalucía (ADA) and highlighted that the Junta has trained nearly four million people in the last five years, six times more than in the period 2008-2018.

He also pointed out the positive impact of the Digital Training Plan of Andalucía, which has already executed 120 million euros of its budget and has carried out 8,875 training actions in which more than 391,000 people have participated. In addition to this, the modernization of the more than 700 centers of the Puntos Vuela network, with a total investment of 42.5 million euros to transform them into accessible digital training spaces adapted to the needs of the citizens.

In this regard, Antonio Sanz highlighted the «unprecedented budget increase experienced by the Agency, consolidating itself as a fundamental pillar for the modernization of the administration and Andalusian society.»

Antonio Sanz emphasized that the budget of the ADA for 2025 reaches 510 million euros, representing a 31% increase compared to 2024. This growth is even more significant when compared to the initial budget of 2021, the year the Agency was created, which amounted to 142 million euros. In the following years, the budgets have always increased with 271 million in 2022, 296 in 2023, and 390 in 2024. «In just four budgetary exercises, the investment in digitalization has multiplied by 3.6, demonstrating the firm commitment of the Andalusian Government to digital transformation,» the counselor emphasized.

Among the main items of the 2025 budget, Antonio Sanz highlighted the 32.5 million euros allocated to the Digital Training Plan, 26.9 million for the construction of the Data Processing Center at the PCT Cartuja in Seville, and 13.1 million to strengthen cybersecurity in the region. Additionally, 6.5 million euros have been assigned for the evolution and support of the technological platform for emergencies Andalucía 112 and another 6.5 million for the creation of eight digital entrepreneurship nodes.

The counselor of the Presidency also referred to the historic public employment offer promoted by the Junta de Andalucía in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). In 2023 and 2024, 359 new ICT positions have been created in the regional administration. In this regard, the counselor highlighted «that in just three years, the offer of ICT employment by the Junta has almost doubled compared to the last 13 years.»

Regarding cybersecurity, Antonio Sanz recalled the inauguration in November 2023 of the Cybersecurity Center of Andalucía in Málaga, «a pioneering infrastructure at the national level in which more than 60 million euros have been invested to date, reinforcing the security of the Junta’s information systems and positioning us as leaders in this field,» he emphasized.

Furthermore, the counselor highlighted the importance of the future Andalucía Digital Law (LADI), which is in the process of being processed and will establish a unified regulatory framework to consolidate the digital transformation of the community, ensuring digital inclusion for all citizens and promoting technological innovation in the public and private sectors.

The counselor concluded by reaffirming the commitment of the Andalusian Government «to digitization, ensuring that Andalucía continues to lead technological development in Spain and consolidating a model of administration that is more agile, efficient, and accessible for all Andalusians.»
