Nuevo plan de limpieza integral en Torre del Mar. Aumento de frecuencia de actuación en 7 sectores según necesidades. Refuerzo en zonas clave y residenciales. Compromiso con la limpieza y bienestar de residentes y visitantes.

The plan presented by Jesús Pérez Atencia, the first deputy mayor of the municipality of Vélez-Málaga and deputy mayor of Torre del Mar, aims to revolutionize the cleaning services in Torre del Mar. This new plan involves dividing Torre del Mar into 7 sectors, with varying frequencies of intervention based on the volume of traffic and the specific needs of each area.

According to Pérez Atencia, the goal is to enhance street cleaning, washing, and maintenance in all areas of Torre del Mar, with a particular focus on El Tomillar, SUP-T12, Sierra de las Nieves, and Viña Málaga. The plan includes a weekly intervention in each sector, such as SUP-T12, El Tomillar, Viña Málaga, and Sierra de las Nieves, in addition to reinforcing the frequency in the urban core, complementing the usual work of Althenia and avoiding redundancies.

The sectors in Torre del Mar have been categorized as follows, with different monthly intervention frequencies based on the level of traffic and specific requirements of each area:

– Sector 1 (Fenicios to Dr. Marañón): 12 interventions per month
– Sector 2 (Dr. Marañón to Paseo Larios): 12 interventions per month
– Sector 3 (Paseo Larios to Las Arenas): 8 interventions per month
– Sector 4 (Avda. Colón to Las Melosas): 4 interventions per month
– Sector 5 (Parque Móvil to Cooperativa San Valentín): 4 interventions per month
– Sector 6 (Calle del Río to Laureano Casquero): 12 interventions per month
– Sector 7 (Laureano Casquero to Victoria Kent): 8 interventions per month
– Residential areas such as Supt12, Viña Málaga, Tomillar, and Sierra de las Nieves: 4 times per month each

This new plan aims to provide specific coverage to problematic areas or those with high visitor density, such as nightlife districts and event spaces on weekends. The cleaning operations will include daily pressure washing, manual cleaning, and intensive inspection of sensitive areas. The plan is designed to operate seven days a week, adapting the schedule to fit the needs of the calendar, public events, or specific incidents.

Pérez Atencia emphasized that this plan reinforces the commitment to the image, cleanliness, and well-being of residents and visitors, ensuring that Torre del Mar shines as it deserves throughout the year. He also encouraged the collaboration of the community in facilitating the cleaning tasks and reminded that any issues or special needs can be communicated through the designated municipal channels.
