The Benalmádena City Council reports that the heavy rainfall recorded in recent days and especially this weekend has caused leaks in the annex building of the City Hall affecting several municipal departments and delegations.
Therefore, as a preventive measure, the Personal department has ordered the departments located in this area to organize remote work for the next few days while solutions are being analyzed as a result of the work on the facade and roof of the building. The Buildings department details that the damages will be covered by the insurance of the construction work and are currently being evaluated.
At the moment, work is being done to alleviate the water pockets resulting from the leaks. The City Council is already considering other possible locations in other buildings in case the work on the roof needs to be extended.
