Reunión internacional en Málaga: Marketing Deportivo y Comunicación.

The Faculty of Communication Sciences at the University of Malaga (UMA) is organizing the International Spring Congress III next week, an international event focused on sports marketing, journalism, communication, and sponsorship.

On February 20 and 21, professionals and experts in the sector will analyze the latest trends, strategies, and challenges in the sports industry and communications, as reported by Europe Press in organizing the event.

Over the two days of the «International Spring Congress III. Sports marketing, journalism, communication, and sponsorship: debates on current trends and perspectives and the exchange of knowledge on the impact of sports media, the role of brands, and the evolution of communication in the sector will be addressed.

During this meeting, UMA will host the photographic exhibition «Women in Sports Communication,» which aims to highlight the trajectory and impact of outstanding professionals in sports journalism, from photojournalists to producers and narrators.

The featured individuals include Paloma del Río, a prominent figure in RTVE’s coverage of the Olympic Games; Elena Jiménez, a specialist in golf and badminton narrative; and Gema Lóbillo Mora, former communications director of Malaga CF.

This exhibition will emphasize the importance of women in sports communication and the need to continue advancing in equality in journalism and sports, as indicated by the organization.

The opening will take place on February 20 at the Central Gallery Chamber of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, with sector professionals and representatives from the University of Malaga participating. It will be open for visitation until March 20.

«The International Spring Congress III. Sports marketing, journalism, communication, and sponsorship: current trends and perspectives» is organized by Spring and Uma; sponsored by the Andalusian Government and Clínica Rincón; and supported by the city of Malaga, Unicaja basketball, Malaga CF, EPIE, and the Association of Sports Journalists in Malaga.
