Por Redaccion Rebeca Muñoz, the municipal delegate of Culture, has accompanied the managers and students of the ‘Entre Bambalinas’ Performing Arts Center who have presented the works that are the result of the entire course at different levels and ages. The councilor has noted that today is the International Theater Day and has pointed out that it is the best time for this educational center in the city, dedicated to promoting art and creating great theatrical productions, to announce different works that will be seen soon.
The director of ‘Entre Bambalinas’, Ángel Manzano, has detailed the upcoming performances that will be staged in the coming weeks, highlighting how theater connects people through art. He mentioned that three theatrical works are now being presented, prepared since October, combining all the disciplines taught at the center in each of them, allowing the participation of all students. Talks or flash mobs in the city streets will also be part of the shows.
Thus, the calendar will consist of the following events. On Friday, May 16, at 8:30 pm, an adaptation of the play ‘Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown’ will be offered as a tribute to the figure and work of Pedro Almodóvar. The ticket price will be 12.00 euros and about twenty students will participate, including María Villalón and María José Carrasco. It will be a benefit for Ayuca.
The next show will be on Saturday, June 14, at 8:30 pm, and Sunday, June 15, at 7:00 pm with a musical tribute to the best hits of Mecano titled ‘No Controles’, with tickets priced at 12 euros. Finally, the center proposes an adaptation of the classic tale ‘Peter Pan and Neverland’ on Sunday, June 29, at 7:30 pm. Tickets will cost 6 euros.
