Ronda continues to promote local offerings through various actions throughout Spain. Last week, the municipal company took part in a prominent initiative that took place in various locations in the north of Spain, in collaboration with Turismo Costa del Sol and ‘Viajes El Corte Inglés’, one of the leading national operators.
On May 7 and 8, Turismo de Ronda participated in events held in the Asturian town of Avilés and in Bilbao, with the aim of reinforcing the role of our city as a destination for visitors from these regions, autonomous communities with a significant number of potential tourists who may choose Ronda as their destination.
In the case of Avilés, the promotional activity took place at the URJ Zen Balagares hotel in Overa and was attended by sector companies’ representatives and executives from the entire northern region of the country. As for the event in Bilbao, it was primarily aimed at commercial teams, advisors, and contractors from ‘Viajes El Corte Inglés’, seeking to enhance the sales and promotion of Ronda as a destination within the Costa del Sol offering.
The municipal delegate for Tourism, Ángel Martínez, has pointed out that with these actions, Turismo de Ronda reaffirms its commitment to promotion throughout Spain, once again opting for close public-private collaboration, working with the main national agencies, which allows for the increase in new business opportunities and, therefore, the arrival of visitors to the city.
